Plant based innovators need support, and we have some quick and easy support to offer - GroundBreakers is giving $10,000 and support for use before the end of the year to an innovator working to improve plant based protein processing. They can apply the resources to product/process/market development tasks they’re already doing without giving up equity or their existing plan.

News about plant based protein hasn’t been good lately, as an ultra-processed smear campaign ramps up, industry venture investors pull back (like with “big beef” giant JBS exiting its tiny (compared to its size) plant based meat play Planterra Foods). Regardless of why they and others started to invest and then pulled the plug, it's clear that the shift to sustainable protein is going to come from innovators, not incumbents. Hopefully we can help an innovator on their journey.
