We’re seeking a sales pro who has the hunger to grow a high potential startup in the alt. protein sector.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The VP of Sales will be responsible for:

  • Structuring, recruiting and managing the company’s internal sales team.
  • Overseeing our network of brokers.
  • Onboarding and maintaining relationships with key accounts.
  • Implementing KPIs, monitoring sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and creating strategies to address them.
  • Motivating and mentoring our sales team to reach their goals.
  • Developing in-house training resources.
  • Managing our CRM, generating and analyzing reports to inform 
  • Providing accurate and timely demand forecasts.
  • Managing trade spend budgets.
  • Monitoring market and competitor activity.
  • Identifying and prioritizing strategic opportunities to grow the business.

IS THIS YOU?

  • You have deep experience in the food industry.
  • Rapidly changing priorities excite you, and you have no issue with a fast paced work environment.
  • You are extremely open minded, adventurous, and not entrenched in corporate culture. 
  • Microsoft Word and Excel are dead to you.
  • You’re proficient with Hubspot (or similar CRM systems), Trello, Slack and Google apps.
  • You have a solid understanding of inbound sales and marketing methodology.
  • Tradition, old school mentalities, BOGO coupons and trade shows make you weep from boredom.
