Who are we?

We’re One Planet Pizza – a family-run business with big plans. We founded One Planet Pizza to save the planet. How? By using the power of epic plant-based frozen pizzas. We’re bored of the assumption that plant-based food is dull, grassy, and green all over. We don’t make pizzas for the hell of it. We make epic pizzas to prove that plants will please every single tastebud.

We know that a plant-based diet is probably the single biggest way to reduce your environmental impact. We also know that enjoying an epic meal changes opinions faster than facts, figures, and possibly Sir David Attenborough (sorry David). So, our unbelievably plant-based pizzas are making it easier and tastier to save this Planet, one slice at a time.

About the role

We’re looking for a seriously driven (but also fun) marketing manager to take control and lead all our marketing activities and ensure these align with our core values and objectives. Someone who’s ready to take our exciting start-up to the next level has an eye for creativity and communicates our brand’s messages like a pro. This role is for the leader, the multitasker, the forward-thinker, and the communicator. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage and be part of a small but growing team, & a crazy creative outside-the-box mindset. 

What are we looking for?

· Someone with an extensive understanding of FMCG marketing, preferably in food or drink (or the plant-based space)

· At least 3+ years experience in FMCG marketing

· Someone who’s worked with a start-up or high-growth company and knows what it takes to build a brand and achieve rapid growth with limited resources

· Someone who is seriously hungry (pun intended) for a huge challenge and opportunity to take an exciting start-up to the next level

· Someone with leadership and management experience

· Experience managing social media channels and creating content

· Experience with marketing campaigns for retail and wholesale channels

· Experience with SEO and digital advertising

· Someone who can discover and explore new and creative ways to build a successful brand

· Someone who can play as a team - budget planning, leading a team and knowing when/what/how to delegate

· Preferably someone who has an interest in the plant-based food category or sustainability / environmental issues. Or simply wants to help us save this Planet

What would you be doing in this role?

• This will be a leadership role where you’ll manage and be responsible for all marketing activities at One Planet Pizza across all channels 

• Working closely with our co-founders to build our brand rapidly and help grow the marketing team 

• Take responsibility for our annual marketing plan and budget  

• Regularly measuring and reviewing the success of the marketing spend and exploring new and more effective strategies and opportunities 

• Take ownership and manage our community and commercial partnerships (e.g. influencer outreach and sampling)

• Help steer and develop the One Planet Pizza brand, tone of voice, and guidelines  

• Work with our PR agency to grow and develop our strategy and reach more people  

• Take the lead of our online presence with SEO and digital marketing to build and develop an effective and measurable strategy 

• Keep up to date with relevant trends, brand opportunities, news, and insights  

• Develop core brand materials including consumer FAQs, POS, and presentation decks

• Support our web development team to maintain the highest standards across our website and online shop

Other responsibilities

•       Develop forms, procedures, and systems to enable the company to achieve its objectives within the domain of this role

•        Attend and contribute to the Management Team

•        You may be required to carry out or assist with other tasks, from time to time, which may or may not be related to the areas above

•        You may be expected to undertake training as the business context changes and evolves

•        Support our team at events and promotional opportunities where possible
