FIELD OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

As a Field Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for community engagement, field marketing, in-store inventory management and quality control.

What you’ll be doing:

+ Proactively engaging with consumers in the community, including talking about Plantega, its mission and the information about brands and products sold, inviting them to taste and try Plantega products, and answering questions.

+ Assist with execution of marketing and promotional activities planned at bodega locations, including influencer marketing visits, store promotions, sampling, events, press visits, photo and video shoots, etc.

+ Inventory management tasks ranging from receiving product deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory counts, placing products in grill and retail displays, and accurate price labeling of all products and menu items.

+ Quality control of grill and retail products via spot checks on menu items and tracking of product/package quality and expiration dates.

+ Completing and filing reports about your observations and engagements in the field.

Who you are:

+ You are able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

You are an organized team player that is punctual, responsible and mature

+ You are no wallflower, you are comfortable proactively engaging with strangers and striking up conversations.

+ You have a high level of attention to detail and following specific directions with minimal supervision.

+ You have experience in field or local marketing in a direct-to-consumer food environment.

+ You’re a hustler: you’re a self-starter, energetic, you get things done, you are self-motivated, super scrappy, energetic, with a high level of initiative who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with ambiguity and has a passion for continuous improvement.

+ You thrive in a fast-paced environment, you are comfortable with ambiguity, and you have a passion for learning and growth.

+ You’re flexible and thrive on a small team where things can change — often.

+ You’ve got a big heart, not afraid of tough challenges and embraces the power of laughter.

+ (Preferred) You are comfortable speaking and understanding Spanish

+ You’re a die-hard New Yorker who lives in the city and enjoys getting around to different boroughs and communities

Our Field Operations Coordinators are paid on an hourly wage basis with flexible working hours including both part and full time roles.
