Job Title: B2B Sales Account Executive (UK)
Location: Fully remote with one day a week in London office possible
Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Holiday: Unlimited

We have just secured funding and are now in a position to grow the team. As such The Green Shoot Institute is looking for an experienced and hands-on B2B sales specialist to own the growth of our global client portfolio.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on B2B sales specialist, with full cycle experience, to own the growth of The Green Shoot Institute’s client portfolio both here in the UK and globally.
You’ll be someone who can quickly build a pipeline of great sales opportunities, convert to new value-aligned clients, and deliver against our growth plans. As part of a small team you’ll have a significant impact on the sales strategy, play a big part in supporting the future growth of The Green Shoot Institute and join a company on a high growth trajectory at an early stage.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Identifying potential SME and Enterprise customers and new opportunities for The Green Shoot Institute
- Building a sales plan to deliver against growth targets for The Green Shoot Institute Enterprise proposition
- Self-generating, qualifying and nurturing prospects from first conversation to client acquisition, which will include emailing and cold calling prospective customers
- Learning how to use a variety of tools and processes as well as sharing your skills and tools from previous sales experience
- Creating a range of value-aligned business partnerships to help grow The Green Shoot Institute and our user base
- Reporting your productivity and results to the Founder and CEO
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team to plan and deliver sales strategy and reporting
Your Background
- 1- 2 years + of full cycle sales experience
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
- Self-starter/ bias to action
- An excellent telephone manner
- Self-driven creative thinker
- Team player
About You
We want enthusiastic, dedicated individuals looking to progress their career in sales. With a minimum of one years’ full cycle experience, you will be eager to learn about selling to different industries and able to demonstrate that you are a self-starter.
We want people that naturally build strong relationships and communicate clearly. You will be prepared to roll your sleeves up when required and will be motivated by targets and deadlines. While an interest is key, you do not need to be an expert on plant-based/sustainability to apply for this role as you will receive training on the different products and partners. Having a background in HR/ HR Tech, SaaS, recruitment will help when thinking about the end customer.
