We’ll be slinging thick, rich and outrageously creamy Madagascan vanilla soft serve and shakes at the DÁPmobile all spring and summer long from our spiritual home in the heart of Shoreditch. We’ll also be hitting the road to attend selected festivals and events throughout the year—so buckle up!

The coolest job in the world…literally.

We know from experience that there’s nothing better than slinging soft serve on a sunny day and are looking to build an epic team of fun-loving ice cream warriors to help spread the indulgence in London and beyond!

We have one full time position as Manager a.k.a. Captain of the DÁPmobile, offering a minimum of 35 hours a week from Wednesday to Sunday. There will be a mix of solo days running the show during quieter times and days leading The Cream Team during busy weekends.

As Captain of the DÁPmobile you will be responsible for:

• Keeping the soft serve thick, rich and outrageously creamy
• Ensuring that every customer has a dreamy DÁPPA experience
• Managing rotas
• Training the team in soft (serve) skills: swirling, topping and concierge
• Management of delivery apps and liaison with (potentially moody) moped drivers
• Keeping the DÁPmobile and equipment in tip-top condition
• Managing the payments system and sales reporting
• Stock taking and re-ordering supplies to keep the soft serve flowing
• Maintaining health and safety practices (e.g. resisting the urge to swirl ice cream directly into your mouth)

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a ‘people person’ who is confident, enthusiastic and excellent under pressure when the sun shines and the queue gets long!

This person must be happy both working alone and as part of The Cream Team. Experience in food service and/or customer facing roles is preferred but not essential.
