We are looking for someone to run and organise the business from an administrative point of view. This is a very exciting and diverse role that would really suit someone who is passionate about business ethics, organisation, administration and finance. You would be in charge of managing the day to day running tasks for both our festival catering operation as well as for our two sites in Brighton. You will work closely with the business owner, bookeepers and our Brighton Managers to ensure that the company stays on top of all correpsondance, tasks, responsibilities and that it grows and develops new systems to support our development ethically whilst we grow as company. 

Our office and Festival store room is based in Henfield and usually around 1 day a week you will work from our restaurant in Brighton. We've been working very hard over the past two years to really strengthen our operations so you'd be coming into the company at a really exciting and organised time and we'd love for you to help us grow and develop in all areas. We are a not for profit company and we work with two amazing charities. It is a very rewarding and delicious role, working in a management team of really great individuals! Below you there will be a Brighton Area manager who oversees the running of our two stores in Brighton (each with their own management team) and our two festival managers who oversee the running of our festival catering van. You will work closely with Anna the company owner on business strategy, development and analysis. 

The job role entails a work load split as follows : Emails & correspondence 20 % - Administration 25% - Finance & accounts 25% - HR & Employee management 15% -Meetings & team communication 10% - Logistics & manual work 5%. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

● Previous experience of an administrative & management role. 

● Experience working with Excel Microsoft office, gmail, google drive, slack & Trello preferable.

● Organising invoice filing and communicating with out bookkeepers for VAT returns, missing receipts & EOY reports. 

● Comfortable overseeing and being in charge of a company that could turn over up to £1,000,000 May 2022-May 2023

● Problem solving and process improvement to ensure highest ethics of operation.

● Communication with Restaurant Managers & Business owners to ensure smooth running of the business. 

● Happy to learn how to make the food items to gain full understanding of how the business operates. 

●  Good understanding of our business model, ethics & menus.
