Senior Food Scientist

As a Senior Food Scientist, you will work closely with our Tech and Product Team, providing insights from the basic research in Food Science. Apart from that, you will be the right hand of the Chief Scientific Officer, providing your support in the decision-making and thus contributing to the growth of Revo Foods. Your tasks will include:

• Translating fundamental knowledge from the research into innovative solutions in plant-based fish production
• Pushing the limits of possibilities in terms of novel methods of food production
• Investigating novel ingredients, products and technology through literature evaluation and experiments
• Testing the products and its characteristics with our 3D printers and other technology together with the Tech Team
• Leading, inspiring and guiding an international team of Food Scientists
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the research and business strategy of Revo Foods

• PhD or Postdoc in Food Technology or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with plant-based meat alternatives, protein extrusion and/or 3D food printing
• Experience in managing complex research projects
• Proven competence in leading and developing teams
• Excellent written and spoken English (German is of an advantage)
• Structured, stress resistant and well-organized personality
• Enthusiasm for meat replacements/vegan food
• Residence in Vienna or willingness to relocate

We offer a competitive monthly salary starting from € 3.000,– gross, we take individual qualifications and experience into consideration.
