Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary is a place of refuge for abused and neglected farmed animals, and we work to inspire a more compassionate lifestyle through education and outreach programs. Since our founding in 2015, we have directly rescued hundreds of farmed animals in need and spared thousands more.
Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary is seeking a part-time (paid hourly) Sponsorship Coordinator to assist and support our animal sponsorship program and manage partnership activation for the sanctuary, as well as assist with partnership prospecting, and the development of partnership activation elements within the sanctuary and our various programs/initiatives. This is a new position at the sanctuary to support a rapidly growing animal sponsorship and new corporate partnership program. The Sponsorship Coordinator will report to and support the Partnership & Development Manager to expand our animal sponsorship program and help to create a strong community of corporate partners to spread compassion throughout the community.
This individual will be responsible for 1) managing the animal sponsorship donor list and maintaining accurate data, 2) sending out sponsorship packages to new sponsors, 3) producing animal sponsorship quarterly update email communication, 4) supporting the Partnership & Development Manager with all partnership activation elements (events, signage, programs, sampling in the Visitor’s Center, coordinating email and social inclusion, etc.), 5) expanding the animal sponsorship program by developing and introducing new innovative elements to attract more sponsors, donations, and retain current sponsors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Development Coordinator to process animal sponsorship requests in an accurate manner—manage Online Express within Raiser’s Edge to enter and process all animal sponsorships.
- Track and maintain all animal sponsor information in the master spreadsheet document.
- Create animal sponsorship certificates and materials (letter, etc.) to send to animal sponsors in a timely manner.
- Track all animal sponsorship stewardship within Raiser’s Edge (our CRM), including maintaining accurate lists of sponsors for all animal residents (remove expired sponsors, and add new sponsors).
- Support the development of animal sponsorship appeals and other communication to solicit and retain sponsors (payment reminders, communication to encourage sponsorship renewal, etc.)
- Support the Partnership & Development Manager in creating and managing activation tracking documents for all corporate partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all corporate partner benefits.
- Manage and support all stewardship and regular communication with animal sponsors and corporate partners.
- Support the development and delivery of partnership “proof of performance” and recap reports in a timely manner.
- Assist with our annual Gala as needed – partner activation, animal sponsor recognition, special benefits, etc.
- Provide administrative support for the Development & Partnership Manager and Executive Director as needed

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge Online Express or CRM database equivalent (preferred but not required- training provided)
- Experience in marketing, development, sponsorship or related field preferred but not required
- Two years of experience in a general office environment
- Organized, extremely detail-oriented, ability to manage competing priorities
- Capacity to handle multiple projects; set priorities, maintain flexibility, and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid problem-solving, research, and analytic skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Dedicated team player with a passion for compassion
