The Director of Supply Chain and Operations (DSC+O) will be a senior position in our organization. This individual must be comfortable working in a high-growth and dynamic environment that requires adaptability, creative thinking, and the enjoyment of opportunistic challenges. This role will work directly with the CEO and may, at times, report to the Board of Directors on key metrics and initiatives outlined as growth priorities.

The right candidate will have had experience in a senior operations or management role in a previous organization, preferably in consumer goods or natural foods. This person will have expertise in: project management, supply chain management, accounting and finance, operating infrastructure, strategic planning, as well as goals management and information organization. This person is detail-oriented, thrives when organized, diligent, disciplined, and, with an engineer’s mind, looks for the most efficient way for all things to operate.

The Director of Supply Chain and Operations will have the following primary responsibilities:

Production Management
Supply Chain and Planned Demand Management
Infrastructure and Administration
Annual Financial Objectives and Business Plan

Requirements:
4+ years of experience working in a senior sales position in food & beverage, preferably in natural foods and preferably on the eastern coast of the US.
Direct experience working with key national retailers (ie Whole Foods, Target, Kroger) and distributors (ie UNFI, KeHE)
Experience managing brokers and internal sales positions
Strong financial acumen, especially as it relates to the analysis of departmental budgets and tradespend
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive
Working knowledge of PM tools
Preference given to those located in Los Angeles, CA
