The Community & Communications Manager will become an indispensable part of the team and take an active role in shaping the direction of the brand and company. This role is ideal for someone looking for rapid professional growth and broad experience in the day-to-day of an early-stage fintech startup. The ideal candidate has experience in community management, project management, communications, content, partnership development, and a general understanding of the fundraising process for early-stage startups.
About the Opportunity
In this role you will wear many different hats and your particular focus from day-to-day or week-to-week is likely to change. You are the glue that holds the entire Vevolution ecosystem together - injecting progress into all offerings on Vevolution, supporting users quickly when issues come up, and identifying & implementing short- and long-term solutions to ensure the Vevolution community continues to create impact..
Responsibilities:
- Community Management:
- Source and scout users for Vevolution across all service offerings:
- Deal flow and new fundraising rounds.
- Job listings and job seekers
- Event organisers and marquee industry events
- Industry communities, like Vegan Entrepreneurs Network
- Professional service providers
- Lead user growth strategies which could include programming, pitch events, etc.
- Partnership development: Drive strategic partnerships with like-minded organisations to fuel Vevolution’s growth. Examples include expanding and streamlining our Seedrs crowdfunding partnership.
- Manage projects from start to finish, including hiring and managing outside resources if necessary.
- Manage and run all Vevolution virtual events. Includes industry panels, pitch events, and other industry events in person.
- Client Relations:
- Lead community engagement efforts. Includes all inquiries from our customers and working with the Vevolution team to determine most viable opportunities.
- Implement client feedback based on stakeholder communication
- Develop customer support process and strategic posture, executing on it daily.
- Keep investors and startups happy and engaged on the platform.
- Drive investor engagement through interested clicks, matched rounds, direct chats, and ultimately investment into rounds
- Work with startups to guarantee round information is up-to-date, accurate, and informative
- Work with due diligence partners to ensure platform integrity
- Communications & Content:
- Draft, edit, and lead Vevolution’s newsletter content.
- Draft and publish fundraising press releases when companies close rounds on the Vevolution platform.
- Lead and source press releases for our news marketplace launching Q3 2022
- Maintain the general brand voice of the business via social media.
- Work closely with the Growth Marketer and leadership team to scale SEO, advertising, and other key marketing efforts.
