Big ambitions

Brave New Food is a European oriented food innovation platform with great ambitions. More than 35 internationally operating partners that represent a great deal of the food industry, a handful of investors and hundreds of food startups and scale-ups have already joined our club and we welcome new companies every month.

So far our first Open Calls yielded over 700 pitches by startups and scale-ups from over 50 countries that resulted in over 200 matches between brand new and established food companies that want to explore collaboration. A result we are - of course - very proud of, but it’s only the beginning. Our challenge now is to stay on track and accelerate our growth and impact where possible.

We are a young and dynamic startup company but already have the traction of a leading food innovation platform. Our founding team members have an impressive track record and network in the food industry, the startup- and open innovation scene. You will work closely with the founders and the rest of the team and our partners so you can learn and expand your network rapidly. 


Your mission

The larger our club of game changers, the larger the impact we can make. That will be your mission! You will put Brave New Food on the map as a strong ecosystem, build and guard a vibrant community of food oriented game changers - both established food companies and promising new food ventures.

It is your job to...

Further develop programs by increasing the quality and appeal of the Brave New Food platform and ecosystem. Your main mission is to better engage Brave New Food partners, provide them with more services, and broaden and build the partner base with the goal of growing the Brave New Food partner network. This includes:

  • Expanding and strengthening the community. Building and maintaining collaborations with our (network) partners, experts and a curated group of food startups and scale-ups.
  • Being the face and first point of contact for Brave New Food's partners.
  • Upselling to existing partners and responsible for acquisition of new partners.
  • Co-organizing and host our partner events. Check out the aftermovie of our last partner event below.
  • Collecting partner challenges and needs for the online innovation challenge programs.
  • Co-developing and executing new programs and relevant (commercial) propositions on the platform and bringing them to the attention of (new) partners.
  • Contributing to building brand awareness and improving brand positioning/reputation.
You
  • Are a commercial go-getter who quickly converts plans and creative ideas into results
  • Know which buttons to push to create partner engagement
  • Are a brave, hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented builder and team player
  • Are enthusiastic, positive and energetic
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an innovation or startup environment
  • Have a passion for food, innovation and entrepreneurship
  • Are available 24 to 40 hours per week (flexible)
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. An international background or experience is a nice-to-have
