About Mana’s Plant-Based Persian Cuisine

Mana’s Plant-Based Persian Cuisine is London’s first and only 100% Vegan Persian restaurant. Having launched in September, we are running a pop-up restaurant at Jamboree Venue in King’s Cross until the end of December 2022 and are planning on a new location following the end of our residency at the end of this year.

Our mission is to tell a story with soul-nourishing food, to showcase the depth and beauty of Iranian cuisine and prove that eating plant-based does not mean we need to leave our culture behind, or compromise on flavour - ever. We are setting ourselves on the map by changing the hearts and minds through delicious food, all whilst bringing a new flavour to the vegan scene in London.

About the Job – Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant

• Assist in the food preparation process by washing and chopping vegetables
• Assist the team to prepare plates for service
• Cleaning and sterilizing countertops, kitchen walls and all appliances
• Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day
• Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
• Washing pots, pans, and dirty cooking appliances
• Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
• Manage deliveries 
• Engage with customers if necessary

About You

Salary:

• £9-11ph (dependent on age and experience)

Operating Days and Hours:

• Wednesday - Sunday
• Part Time or Full Time 10-30 hours per week; dependent on your schedule and staff availability
