Veggie Bomb vegan food truck is hiring for a Driver/Line cook position.
Must have at least 2 years back of house-BOH kitchen experience AND must be able to safely drive the 26-foot-long food truck.
Other job responsibilities and requirements are:
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must have current food handlers permit.
BOH experience is mandatory. Must be able to cook, chop/cut, deep fry, griddle, blend etc.
Prepare and serve food to the exact owners specifications.
Take orders and expedite orders in a timely fashion.
Execute daily open and closing checklists.
Set up stations for menu service, keep the food truck clean and organized.
Keep track of stock and update shopping checklist daily.
Store shopping, stocking the truck and prep cooking are often needed.
Must maintain a cordial and professional manner.
Must have a reliable vehicle!
There is a management component to this position due to the fact Veggie Bomb is essentially a restaurant on wheels. It’s a business with many working parts, front of house and back of house all together. Please be aware that the food truck travels to many locations and has various service times. Please be prepared for the adventure that is working for a food truck! Serious inquiries only.
