The Vurger Co is growing quickly and after several years of building really solid foundations and growing to three permanent bricks and mortar sites, the brand is expanding significantly over the coming years.

As part of that expansion, the central management team is growing too, and a key part of that strengthening process is our first Restaurant Operations Director. This is a very important role, and the successful candidate will take on overall responsibility for operations across all UK restaurants, working closely with Operations Manager, Production Manager and Restaurant Managers.

o Manager Academy – design and implement a Manager Training Academy, where we identify high performing members of the team and develop them into fantastic Managers. Also to ensure that new and existing Managers get the training and skills that they need to be the best in the business.

o Recruitment – developing and overseeing an efficient and scalable recruitment process and strategy, also ensuring Managers are well equipped to conduct high quality interviews and onboarding at their sites.

o Supply Chain / Logistics – working closely with Production Manager and Transport to ensure all goods are in the right place at the right time. Also continually reviewing external supply chain to ensure costs are managed.

o New openings – oversee and coordinate the planning, training and execution of all new site openings.
