New Product Developer

As a New Product Developer, you will be part of this revolutionary movement by taking part in product development projects, especially for the new products portafolio for the upcoming year. Your specific responsibilities will mainly be to lead the project definition, project development, and launch preparation.



Your challenge:

⦁ Coordinate, plan and guarantee the development of new products approved in the Innovation Masterplan, from idea to launch.
⦁ Work as an R&D team member with responsibility for conceptualizing and providing information/suggestions regarding product-processing and product development work.
⦁ Formulate recipes according to target needs and respecting quality and nutritional specifications, taking into account targets in terms of performance, costs, timings.
⦁ Maintain accurate and complete records of all experimental and design work.
⦁ Coordinate industrial trials and tests to ensure product quality and feasibility.
⦁ Leverage both internal and external resources to identify and analyze problems, identify potential solutions, carry out tests, foresee consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in the achievement of team and project goals.
⦁ Assist the Regulatory and Quality team to guarantee correct product development and compliance with existing regulations.
⦁ Benchmarking: monitoring of market trends, competitors follow-up, new ingredients and technologies, attendance to seminars/exhibitions.



You will rock at this role if:

⦁ Beyond anything else, you care about our mission and see it as a “personal” problem to be solved professionally.
⦁ You have thrived as a NPD in plant-based or animal-meat company for +3 years, preferably in the vegetable industry.
⦁ Food Science and Technology is your passion, and have a MSc qualification for it.
⦁ You have a proven track record of development projects. Experience in designing and conducting sensory tests is a plus!
⦁ You are an innate problem solver with a string scientific method as well as creative problem-solving.
⦁ You really enjoy the adrenaline of managing multiple tasks concurrently and show flexibility with last-minute changes, while being autonomous.
⦁ Working in a diverse, multicultural and dynamic team energizes you.
⦁ You communicate fluently in both Spanish and English. Additional languages are cool too!
⦁ You are super excited to create and build— remember that we are a startup!
