National Account Manager for Forecourt and Convenience

The NAM is responsible for generating new business leads within current RTM, account management of existing business, JBP creation/ implementation and promotional planning. The NAM must also analyse data and construct plans based on this data, forecast volume with the assistance of the Operations Manager, as well as build and implement marketing strategy for accounts.


The Successful Applicant

· Min 3 years' experience working with wholesale and convenience, ideally, across branded Impulse categories (product categories not essential but preferred)

· Classic blue-chip training, preferably combined with experience gained at a high growth SME (latter not essential)

· Strong track record of achieving growth targets

· Great at working within and leading cross functional project teams

· Exemplary commercial acumen

· Exceptional negotiation / influencing skills

· Effective networker and relationship builder

· Category management experience or can sell effectively with a category approach

· Growth brand mindset, always seeking to maximise opportunities

· Is "gutsy” and resilient, an innovator and a strong lateral thinker to identify new opportunities and solutions to challenges

· Great communication skills

· Thrives in a fast-paced and ambitious environment with high expectations

· Data driven and sound understanding of category
